Trinity District Development Update
Trinity District has had a lot of work done behind the scenes lately, and we wanted to give everyone a proper update on what has been added, worked on, and what is currently being configured.
Housing & Garages
Housing has been set up, and garages have been actively worked on. These systems are a big part of making the city feel more permanent and lived-in, so this is a major step forward.
Vehicles, Dealerships & Mechanics
Dealerships and shops have been added and are being set up around the city.
Auto Exotic has also been added, including the MLO, dealership setup, and mechanic setup. A few vehicle packs have been added as well and are ready to be handled and tested.
Phone, Radio & Quality of Life
LB-Phone has been fixed so it now works as a usable inventory item. Players will be able to hotbar it or drag it to Use from their inventory.
LB-RadioPhone has also been added and is being worked into the city.
Businesses, Food & Consumables
Work has started on consumables and store food items so players can actually buy and use food properly.
Ingredients have also been added into the business system, meaning businesses will be able to craft food and drinks instead of everything magically appearing out of thin air. Crazy concept, we know.
CatCafe / UwU and Pearls have also been added.
Inventory Bundles
A small bundle system has been added for inventory items. This allows things like beer 6-packs and similar bundled items to exist properly in-city.
Smoking, Drugs & Crafting
Zyke smoking and consumables have been added, along with their required dependencies.
Police, keys, crafting, and drug systems have also been added and are being worked into the city.
New MLOs Added
Several new locations have been added, including:
- Daddy Tobacco
- Blaze It
- Black Market
- Auto Exotic
- CatCafe / UwU
- Pearls
- Bahama Mamas
Bahama Mamas has been set up, with grocery and store support still being added.
UI, Chat & Loading Screen
A new chat theme has been added.
The loading screen has also been edited to match our colours and logo, so the city is starting to feel a lot more like Trinity District instead of default server #482.
Jobs & City Systems
Civilian jobs have been added.
EMS job setup has been started, though it still needs more configuration.
JG Vehicle Mileage has also been tested and appears to be working properly.
Current Focus
Right now, work is still ongoing for:
- Consumables
- Food in stores
- Business ingredients
- Vehicle handling
- Mechanic parts shop
- EMS configuration
- More dealership and vehicle setup
The city is moving forward piece by piece. Some things are fully working, some are being tested, and some are still being wired together with duct tape, caffeine, and mild developer suffering.
As always, thank you for being here during the build phase. Trinity District is growing fast, and your feedback helps shape what it becomes.
